Natasha Foresi Flute Studio is a part of the Vitta Music Studio which was founded in 1994.
I offer flute lessons to beginner through professional level students.
In my teaching, I strive to develop musicality in all students and give them a solid technical foundation in order that they can achieve freedom of musical expression.
I consider it very important in my teaching to find an individual approach to each of my students.I prepare my students for RCM exams, local and national festivals and competitions, orchestral auditions as well as entrance examinations to Universities and Colleges.
When can you start playing the flute?
Children can start as early as 6 years old. The standard flute
in this case is normally too big for them. We would use a flute with a curved head-joint specifically designed for them:
and later when the child grows up we will pass to a normal sized flute.
In some cases when the child is still too small for a regular
curved head flute, I recommend to use the Prodigy model Jupiter flute:
which is
designed for smaller hands and is shorter and lighter.
